Product Description

Yale Yalex™ – 12-Strand Single Braid Polyester Rigging Rope (Maxijacket™ Coated)

Yale Yalex™ is a premium 12-strand single-braid polyester rope engineered for professional rigging and arborist lowering systems. Built with over-finish polyester fiber and a unique two-ends-per-carrier structure, Yalex creates a larger internal void—making it easier to splice and especially helpful when performing used-rope splicing in the field.

Every Yalex rope is finished with Yale’s Maxijacket™ urethane coating to reduce snagging, greatly improve abrasion resistance, and support color coding for application, job setup, or load rating identification.

Pro Tip: If you like the fast handling and easy splicing of 12-strand hollow braid ropes (like Husky-12 style lines), Yalex is a premium alternative with a Maxijacket-coated finish to reduce snagging and extend wear life in high-abrasion rigging environments.

Key Features

  • 12-strand single braid (hollow braid) for smooth handling and splicing
  • Two-ends-per-carrier structure creates a larger internal void for easier splicing
  • Maxijacket™ urethane coating reduces snagging and boosts abrasion resistance
  • Easy to color code for application or load rating identification
  • Marine-grade yarn finish applied prior to twisting
  • 2-ply construction helps retain rope shape
