Just what I needed

I used this rope (25') to make a double eyed sling for an anchor point to attach a pulley (snatch block) for my Maasdam rope puller. Works perfect!

I just want to say I couldn't be happier with this rope. I wanted my bed swing project to match my teal shutters outside and this rope was perfect in color but also had all the strength to hold the swing. I've attached pictures. I will be returning soon for more items.

Would you recommend this line for hurricane boat tie down in the Virgin Islands? See more »

This rope is likely strong enough, but generally our customers use braided ropes because they don't twist and hockle quite as easily. It also depends on the size of the boat of course. Most regular runabouts use 1/2" mooring lines, but if this is a larger boat, then a larger rope may be required. A rope like 3/4" Nylon Double Braid might be a good choice. Nylon has tremendous elasticity, but because it's a double braid, it will be more difficult to splice for novice users. Ultimately we have no way to know what load your rope will see, how strong the hurricane might be, etc.
