The gloves I bought last time were great. The only mistake I made was listening to some one's review. The person stated the gloves ran big. So I bought a large instead of extra large. DONT DO IT. They are true to size.

Can this be used in a block and tackle rig (lifting about 200 to 250 lbs.)? See more »

Yes, assuming the block and tackle are meant for use with 1/2" 3-Strand rope.

We checked with our supplier, and they had the following recommendations. 1) Go with one size bigger, 5/8". They feel the 1/2" rope will be pretty small to try and hold onto, and we tend to agree. 2) There is a 12-strand version of this rope available, and they suggest you go with that as it is a more stable construction compared to 3-strand. If you want to place an order please call us @ 503-399-7037 and we can assist you.

Maasdam only recommends using their rope, because it's the only rope they officially test and approve. That said, customers do use different ropes. This rope "should" work but we cannot guarantee it. For best results, stick with 1/2" PolyDac.

It very well may work, but if being used on the Maasdam A-0, then we would recommend using regular 1/2" PolyDac.

Per the manufacturer, they state: "Excellent UV and abrasion resistance."
