Product Description

Double braid polyester ("DBP") rope is a great choice for use with capstan winches. Its double braid construction essentially means it's two ropes in one, as the outer sheath works in tandem with the inner core. This type of "jacketed" rope is more tolerant to abrasion, and generally yields a longer lifespan. Additionally, it has relatively low stretch and handle friction heat well. To top it off, DBP is affordable and easily spliced by most rigging shops like ours.
