The Notch Rope Runner Vertec is a next-generation climbing and work positioning device designed for professional arborists. Developed by Notch in collaboration with Kevin Bingham, the Vertec builds on the legendary Rope Runner Pro with refined performance, smoother tending, and tool-free adjustability that keeps you efficient in the canopy.
With seven friction settings and intuitive modulation for both ascending and descending, the Rope Runner Vertec adapts easily to different ropes, climber preferences, and work positioning scenarios. Recent refinements based on arborist feedback improve consistency across more rope and carabiner setups, delivering controlled, predictable descents.
