Product Description
Secure and Shorten Skidding Chains with the Wallingford Loggergrab®
The Wallingford Loggergrab® 402197 is a heavy-duty grab link designed specifically for building and adjusting chain choker systems. Made from heat-treated, drop-forged alloy steel, this keyhole-style grab link delivers exceptional strength and durability while helping to prevent damage to your chains during tough forestry operations. It’s the reliable choice for securing, shortening, and adjusting skidding chains in the field.
Engineered for Strength and Chain Protection
Unlike conventional grab hooks that can gouge or pinch the chain, the Loggergrab® features an elongated saddle on the bottom that distributes the load more evenly and protects against chain damage. Its long shaft design easily accommodates two chains, giving you more flexibility when setting up chokers for skidding and pulling logs. With a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 7,300 pounds, it’s a rugged, field-proven tool trusted by professional loggers.
