Product Description
Lewis LSG-O Splicing Grips – Open-Ended Heavy-Duty Snake Grips
The Lewis LSG-O Model Splicing Grip is a non-rotating, heavy-duty open-ended mesh grip designed specifically for cable replacement and mid-line splicing pulls. Commonly referred to as a “snake grip,” the LSG-O allows the existing cable and new cable to be inserted from opposite ends and secured together at the center using banding and tape (sold separately).
Constructed from high-strength galvanized steel mesh, the grip tightens under load to maintain secure contact across the cable surface. Available in double or triple weave configurations depending on size range, LSG-O grips are engineered for demanding utility, telecom, and electrical cable pulling applications.
