Product Description

Crosby IPPH Pipe Hooks – Horizontal Lifting of Pipe, Tube & Cylindrical Fabrications

Crosby IPPH Pipe Hooks provide a fast, efficient, and safe way to lift and handle pipe, tube, or any similarly shaped fabrication. Built from high-strength alloy steel plate and designed for use in pairs, these hooks are ideal for horizontal lifting and transport when used with properly rated slings or chains. Each hook includes a convenient handle and bolt-type shackle, with optional non-marring nylon inserts available to help prevent surface damage to coated or threaded pipe.

Key Features:

  • Purpose-Built Design – For horizontal lifting and transport of pipes, tubes, and round fabrications.
  • Heavy-Duty Construction – Alloy-steel plate body for superior strength and durability.
  • Convenient Handling – Integrated handle and bolt-type shackle simplify rigging.
  • Optional Inserts – Replaceable nylon (PA6) inserts minimize pipe damage (sold separately).
  • Temperature Range – –40 °F to +212 °F (–40 °C to +100 °C).
  • Use in Pairs – Hooks are sold individually but must be used in matched pairs with a 45°–60° horizontal sling angle (60°–90° included angle).
  • Compliance – Designed in accordance with EN13155 and ASME B30.20.
Important: Crosby IPPH hooks are designed specifically for horizontal lifting of pipe and similar round objects. Each hook is sold individually and must be used in pairs for lifting. Never attach chains or cables to the handle. Always verify sling angle and load rating before use. Optional nylon insert sets (IPPHI Series) are sold separately.
