Product Description

Crosby G-2160 Wide Body Sling Shackles – Increased Sling Life and Capacity

Crosby G-2160 Wide Body Shackles are engineered to deliver superior performance and longer sling life in critical lifting applications. These high-capacity shackles are designed with an enlarged bow radius that provides at least 58% more sling bearing surface compared to standard shackles—eliminating the need for thimbles and significantly extending the life of wire rope, web slings, and round slings.

Forged from quenched and tempered alloy steel (sizes 7t to 300t) and cast alloy steel (400t to 1550t), these shackles are built for extreme strength. Each shackle is individually proof tested and magnetic particle inspected, with Crosby certification available at time of order. The G-2160 line supports Working Load Limits from 7 to 1550 metric tons, with design factors of 5:1 (up to 300t) and 4.5:1 for the largest sizes.

Key Features:

  • WLL Range: 7 to 1550 metric tons
  • Design Factors: 5:1 up to 300t; 4.5:1 for 400t and above
