Product Description
CMI has taken a standard 5/8" anchor shackle to new heights with the new Arborist Shackle. This shackle is specifically designed for tree climbers and tower workers that are working at height, and risk dropping a shackle pin to the ground. That can be both frustrating and extremely dangerous for the ground crew below. They started with a blank shackle body made from forged steel. Then they machined out the holes to work exclusively with their "slick pin". The pin opens and closes without special tools, but it cannot be fully removed from the shackle. This helps to prevent unintentional dropping of the pin while at height. Aside from this special feature, this shackle maintains the same general size and capacity specifications as similar 5/8" anchor shackles.
- Common anchor shackle design
- Specialty "slick pin" cannot be lost at height
- Entire shackle is zinc-plated to prevent rust and corrosion
