Product Description

19x19 Compacted Spin-Resistant Wire Rope for Crane Applications

This 19x19 compacted wire rope is a high-performance, rotation-resistant rope designed specifically for crane and hoisting applications. Built with Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) and an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), this construction delivers superior strength, durability, and stability under load.

The compacted design increases surface contact between strands, resulting in higher breaking strength, improved drum crushing resistance, and better spooling characteristics compared to traditional 19x7 rotation-resistant wire rope.

With its opposing strand layers, this rope minimizes rotation under load, making it ideal for single-part hoist lines and multi-part reeving systems where load control is critical.

Key Features:

  • 19x19 compacted construction for increased strength and durability
  • Spin-resistant design reduces rotation under load
  • Manufactured from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS)
  • Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) for added stability
  • Improved resistance to drum crushing and abrasion
  • Spools more evenly than standard rotation-resistant ropes
  • Suitable for both single-part and multi-part hoist systems
  • Bright finish with lubrication for extended service life
  • Meets Federal Specification RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023/A1023W
  • Not to be used with a line swivel
Important: This is a specialty spin-resistant wire rope designed for crane and hoisting applications. Its rotation-resistant construction helps control load spin in lifting scenarios. This product is cut to order and is not returnable.
