The gloves I bought last time were great. The only mistake I made was listening to some one's review. The person stated the gloves ran big. So I bought a large instead of extra large. DONT DO IT. They are true to size.

The throat opening tolerance, per the catalog page, is 0.13" for this shackle. Different sizes of shackles have different tolerances. Keep in mind that this pertains to new shackles only. This shackle is designed to have a 2.38" throat opening from the factory, but the factory allows 0.13" of tolerance due to the forging process, how thick the galvanizing is, etc. For shackles that are used in the field, any noticeable spread of the throat opening could be grounds for discarding the shackle, removing it from service. This is especially true if the shackle pin no longer threads naturally.

You will not find the model number (G-209) or the stock number (1018614) on the shackle itself, at least not from the factory. They use other identifying marks, such as the shackle size (1-1/2") and tonnage rating (17T).
