Product Description
Yalex is a 100% high-tenacity polyester 12-strand single braid rope. It is a great all-around rope which enjoys a multitude of uses by arborists, utility workers and other professionals. Commonly used as a sling rope and/or winch line, this rope is super easy to splice and yields an impressive Breaking Strength. This rope is also commonly used to make adjustable slings and spider legs. This rope also features the toughness of a tree-grade Maxijacket coating, which can supply up to 8x the abrasion resistance of uncoated rope. Additionally, Yalex has a great strength to weight ratio and low stretch. A two end per carrier construction (except in the 5/16" diameter) is more expensive to produce but creates a larger hole in the middle of the rope making new and used rope splicing easier.
- Single braid, 12-strand rope constructed from 1W81 high-tenacity polyester
- A two end per carrier construction makes the hollow rope core even bigger, and thus splicing is easier
- Coated with Maxijacket, provides superior abrasion resistance
- Great for slings and rigging
