SWIVELS

Bishop Lifting stocks bearing equipped and non-bearing equipped swivels for use on cranes and rigging applications. Bearing equipped swivels are designed to be rotated under load and are available in tapered roller thrust bearings or angular contact bearings. Non-bearing equipped swivels are positioning devices, and are not intended to rotate under load.

Tapered Bearing equipped swivel are available capacities from 3 to 45 tons, and are individually proof tested to 2 times the Working Load Limit. The models available are S-1 Jaw and Hook, S-2 Jaw and Jaw, S-3 Jaw and Eye, S-4 Eye and Jaw, S-5 Eye & Eye, and S-6 Eye and Hook

Angular Contact Bearing Swivels are available capacities from .45 to 35 tons and are individually proof tested to 2 times the Working Load Limit. The models available are the AS-1 Jaw and Hook, AS-2 Jaw and Jaw, AS-3 Jaw and Eye, AS-4 Eye and Jaw, AS-5 Eye and Eye, AS-6 Eye and Hook, AS-7 Bullet Style Jaw and Jaw, AS-11 Thimble and Jaw, AS-14 Thimble and Bullet, and AS-17 Bullet Style Jaw and Jaw Slurry Swivel.

Forged swivels are available in capacities from 850 to 45,200 lbs. and meets the performance requirements of the Federal Specification RR-C-271F, type VII, class 1. The models available in these non-bearing type swivels are the the G-401 chain (eye end) swivels, G-402 Regular (Bail End) Swivels and the G-403 Jaw End Swivels.
