Laclede Armored Chain Padlock – Ideal for 10mm & 13mm Security Chains
The Laclede Armored Chain Padlock is a high-value, heavy-duty lock specifically designed to pair with Laclede’s 10mm and 13mm square security chains, as well as Pewag’s 10mm and 12mm chains. Built to deliver reliable, proven performance in harsh outdoor environments, this lock has earned a reputation for being affordable, durable, and weather-resistant, standing up to rain, snow, and sun without compromise.
Featuring a hardened, double-slot armored body and a 10mm nickel-plated shackle, this padlock is built to resist cutting and prying attacks. Its heat-treated brass lock body and anti-drill cover provide added resistance to tampering, and three nickel-plated brass keys are included with each lock.
Keyed different by default, but customers can easily choose "Keyed Alike" when adding to cart if they want multiple locks that open with the same key—a great option for managing multiple security points.

Laclede Security Chain Padlock 
I just purchased two of these locks for the rolling gate to my driveway. One lock for now and the second to replace the first when it wears out or rusts. These locks are massive and are very intimidating especially since they weigh 2.4 lbs each. The price of these locks are worth their weight in gold because they should be a crime deterrent. My 'castle' is an hour from the beach, but still slightly concerned about the possibility of corrosion over time so I asked customer service about what they recommended. I was told WD40, but actually found something that might work even better and that's Lock Dry Lube spray which is actually made by the WD40 company.
