The Crosby S-421T Terminator™ Wedge Socket is a premium wire rope end fitting designed to deliver safer, more reliable terminations compared to traditional wedge sockets. Featuring Crosby’s patented Terminator wedge design, this system secures both the live and dead ends of the wire rope—eliminating common failure points like tail breakage and wedge loss.

Engineered for heavy-duty lifting and rigging applications, the S-421T combines proven Crosby durability with enhanced safety features like the QUIC-CHECK® system for quick, visual rope size verification. Whether you're working in construction, oil & gas, marine, or general industrial lifting, this wedge socket provides dependable performance with simplified installation.

Each assembly includes the socket body, Terminator wedge, round pin, and Crosby Red U-Bolt® wire rope clip. Bolt, nut, and cotter pin versions (S-421TB) are available as special order.

Specifications (Round Pin Style)

For intermediate wire rope sizes, use the next larger socket size. Meets ASME B30.26 and EN 13411-6 performance requirements. ABS Type Approval and API-2C certification available upon request.
