I would gladly have bought a used American made choker bell instead of the Chinese bell. I couldn’t find one.
Understandable, but unfortunately, most of the American foundries (and even Canadian foundries) that produced logging hardware for decades have now closed, or are mere skeletons of what they used to be. And this hits us particularly hard being here in the Pacific Northwest where logging is a major part of our business.
