QOBW = Quad Leg + Oblong Master Link + BW Plate Hooks
Our Grade 100 QOBW chain slings are built with a rugged quad-leg alloy chain assembly featuring an oblong master link on top and Pewag BW plate hooks on each working end. Designed specifically for lifting steel plate, as well as stacks of metal or timber, this configuration provides four pick points for maximum load stability and control. BW plate hooks are engineered to achieve a secure “bite” on the load, making proper lifting angles critical to safe operation. In line with Pewag’s recommendations, these hooks are only offered on three- and four-leg sling configurations to ensure balanced lifting. Each plate hook is attached using a coupling link connected to a closed eye, creating a strong, reliable connection. Manufactured from high-strength Grade 100 alloy components and assembled in-house, QOBW slings deliver a dependable solution for plate handling and other demanding lifting applications.
