Product Description
Skookum A-Series Half-Sided Blocks – 4" to 12" Sheaves
The Skookum A-Series Half-Sided Blocks are built for strength, durability, and ease of handling. Each block features a work-hardening manganese steel sheave, a half-sided cast alloy steel body to reduce weight, and smooth-running ball bearings. These blocks are widely used in forestry, construction, and industrial rigging. Roller bearing (RB) versions and alternate top fittings (swivel hook or swivel shackle) are also available.

- Manganese steel sheaves extend rope and sheave life
- Half-sided design reduces overall block weight
- Available with ball bearings (BB) or roller bearings (RB)
- Optional top fittings include swivel hooks and shackles
- Recessed sheave helps prevent rope pinching or binding
- Meets ASTM B30.26 requirements
