These were advertised as having roller bearings but actually have ball bearings. For my purposes this is fine. Except for the poor quality (thin) sheave spacers these little blocks are very robust and should last under heavy use. They are hot-dipped galvanized - a big plus. It's possible to grease these blocks using the installed grease zerk (would require copious amounts of grease); however, they're best greased by disassembly. These are the best 3 inch yarding blocks I've ever owned. When I need additional 3 inch yarding blocks these are the ones I will buy.
