Product Description

FallTech 7531B Beam Anchor – Adjustable Sliding Anchor for I-Beams

The FallTech 7531B Beam Anchor is a versatile, heavy-duty anchorage connector designed for temporary fall protection on horizontal I-beams. Featuring a durable aluminum crossbar and plated alloy steel clamping jaws, this anchor provides a secure connection point while remaining lightweight and easy to reposition across the beam.

With a single-clamp adjustment system and sliding D-ring, the 7531B allows workers to maintain optimal tie-off positioning as they move along the beam. The integrated locking latch ensures the clamp stays securely engaged, while nylon slider pads help protect beam surfaces and enable smooth travel.

Designed for flexibility in the field, this beam anchor fits a wide range of beam sizes and meets current ANSI and OSHA standards for fall protection systems.

Key Features

  • Adjustable beam anchor for temporary fall protection on horizontal I-beams
  • Fits beam flanges from 3" to 14-1/2" wide and up to 1-1/4" thick
  • Single-clamp adjustment with concealed locking latch for secure attachment
  • Sliding alloy steel D-ring moves with user for improved mobility
  • Lightweight aluminum crossbar with plated alloy steel jaws
  • Nylon slider pads help protect beam surfaces and allow smooth repositioning
  • Rated for users from 130 to 425 lbs (OSHA)
  • Ideal for construction, steel erection, and maintenance applications
Considerations for Foot-Level Tie-Off: Anchoring at or below foot level increases free-fall distance and can significantly raise arrest forces on the anchor and connecting equipment. This type of tie-off should only be used when no higher anchorage is available. To reduce risk, use equipment specifically rated for extended free-fall applications, such as Class 2 SRLs or extended-length energy-absorbing lanyards.
