Johnson Complete J-Latch Kits for Crane Blocks, Overhaul Balls, and Hook Assemblies
Johnson Complete J-Latch Kits are full replacement kits for Johnson hooks equipped with the J-latch system. These kits include the latch body along with the matching spring, retaining ring, g-pin, and quick release pin needed to restore proper latch function on compatible Johnson hook assemblies.
Johnson’s J-latch design is widely used on crane blocks, overhaul balls, swivels, and related hook assemblies where a secure, heavy-duty latch system is required. The latch can function either as a locked bar or as an automatic spring latch, depending on pin position.
