Whatever you need, we have it! If you're not sure what you need, view our table below, meant to serve as a guide for those trying to understand what they need, or what the differences are for different products with different industry names.
Category | Description & Usage |
---|---|
Blocks | Commonly referred to as snatch blocks, or rigging blocks. Most often used with wire rope, shackles and straps. Popular with contractors, loggers, property owners and off road enthusiasts. We have something for everyone. |
Pulleys | Generally smaller than blocks, most of our pulleys are made from aluminum and designed for use with rope, not cable (there are a few exceptions). Commonly used by tower and tree climbers, linemen, farmers and ranchers. There are many, many uses for pulleys and we offer a wide variety. |
Zip Line Trolleys | These are similar to pulleys, but they are made to ride horizontally on a zip line. The intended use can be recreational, or professional. Arborists also use zip line trolleys to shuttle wood quickly and safely from the tree to a designated landing zone, in a safe area and usually close to the chipper.. |
Sheaves | Sheaves are just the "wheel" inside the pulley, but they are often referred to as pulleys by mistake. We sell sheaves to serve as components of an engineered system, or to plug in as replacement parts as needed. Be sure to check the sheave specs prior to ordering. All sheaves offered here are bronze bushed. |
Overhaul Balls | Not to be confused with wrecking balls, these are used to add weight to crane lines. Split balls are used on smaller cranes, such as those on mechanic's trucks. The larger non-swivel and top-swivel overhaul balls are used on larger cranes, and are often specified by weight (the crane operator should know how much weight is needed on the line). |
