Product Description
Crosby® G-400 Eye Nuts – Hot-Dip Galvanized, UNC Tapped (ASME B30.26)
The Crosby G-400 Eye Nut is a forged, hot-dip galvanized lifting point designed for reliable performance in industrial rigging, construction, and material handling applications. Manufactured from 1035 carbon steel and quenched and tempered, each eye nut is tapped with standard UNC Class 2 threads after galvanizing to ensure accurate fitment and corrosion resistance. All Working Load Limits (WLL) shown are for in-line pull only.
Key Features:
- Forged steel construction – quenched and tempered for strength and durability
- Forged from 1035 carbon steel
- Hot-dip galvanized finish for corrosion resistance in harsh environments
- Tapped with standard UNC Class 2 threads after galvanizing
- Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26
- 5:1 design factor; WLL shown is for in-line pull only (rating based on standard tap size)
- Also available in a blank (as-forged) version – Crosby S-4028
- Galvanized compatibility: Galvanized eye nuts are intended for use with self-colored and/or zinc-plated rods. They are not cut oversized for use on galvanized rods.
- Size identification: A common mistake is confusing the stock size (“S”) marked on the body with the tap size. These are different—always reference the tap size to ensure proper fitment.
