The Hunter's Most Popular Choice!
This kit was specifically designed with hunters in mind! The Portable Winch Co. wanted to provide the most efficient and lightweight winch on the market so that hunters would be able to retrieve their game in any terrain conditions. And they succeeded!
This winch is powered by Honda's 4-stroke GX-35 cc engine. In addition to being extremely popular with hunters looking for a lightweight, compact tool, this model is also appreciated by occasional loggers. Weighing only 20 lbs, it offers 1600 lbs of pulling power in a single line pull. This unit is both efficient and easy to carry--you'll be equipped to retrieve your game, no matter the conditions.
So Easy to Use!
The rope is tied to the object to be moved and wound 3-4 times around the capstan drum. When the engine is running, the capstan drum rotates continuously and the friction created by pulling on the free end of the rope pulls the object--this is referred to as back tension. You must apply back tension for the winch to work.
Awesome Accessories
The great thing about this kit is that it contains all of the goodies you need for a succesful hunt, including a transport case, pack frame, rope and bag, pulleys, carabiners and more!
