Thern Liberty® Series Portable Capstan Winches
The Thern Liberty® Series delivers rugged performance and portability in a compact electric capstan winch built for professional pulling, tensioning, and positioning applications. Available in both 1,000 lb and 2,000 lb capacities, the Liberty Series combines quiet operation, easy setup, and long service life—ideal for utility line work, tower erection, construction, and maintenance in the field. Each model is built in the USA and engineered for dependable operation under demanding conditions.

Safety & Usage Notes
- Not for lifting people or loads over people.
- Use only Thern-approved synthetic rope assemblies (available in 1/2", 5/8", or 3/4" diameters and 300 ft, 600 ft, or 1,200 ft lengths).
- Maintain a minimum of three wraps on the drum during operation.
- Operate only on a stable surface, using proper anchoring and tension control per the Liberty Owner’s Manual.
