Product Description

CM Long Reach Shackles – Painted Alloy Steel, Screw Pin or Bolt Type

The CM Long Reach Shackles are engineered for applications where a longer reach is required to attach to pick points—ideal for construction, rigging, and heavy lift setups. Built from forged alloy steel and finished with a durable orange powder coating, these shackles offer both strength and visibility on the jobsite. Available in Screw Pin and Bolt, Nut & Cotter configurations, each design provides reliable load handling with a 5:1 design factor and compliance to ASME B30.26.

Key Features:

  • Designed for long-reach lifting and construction applications
  • Forged alloy steel construction for superior strength and toughness
  • Durable orange powder-coated finish for visibility and corrosion resistance
  • Available in Screw Pin (hex head) or Bolt, Nut & Cotter (hex head) configurations
  • Complies with ASME B30.26 requirements (not for side loading)
  • Working Load Limit forged on body for easy identification
  • Self-colored versions available by special order
Important: Long Reach Shackles must not be side loaded or point loaded. To achieve full Working Load Limit (WLL), ensure the load is evenly distributed across the pin and that at least 80% of the bolt/pin is covered.
