Justrite 7125100 Safety Can — 2.5 Gallon Type I, Red
Overview: The Justrite 7125100 is a 2.5-gallon Type I steel safety can for flammables. With a single spout for both filling and pouring, this can combines durable steel construction with integrated safety features like a self-closing lid and stainless steel flame arrester. It is an ideal mid-sized option for workshops, labs, and maintenance facilities requiring safe, compliant fuel or solvent storage.
Why It’s Safer: The sealed lid includes automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3–5 psig to protect against rupture or explosion. A stainless steel flame arrester dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition. Each can is pressure tested for 100% leakproof performance and finished with a chemical-resistant powder coat for long service life.
Compliance & Approvals: Meets OSHA and NFPA 30 requirements; FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV approved. CARB compliant and meets California CAL/OSHA requirements (CCR Title 8 §1930(a)(1)); exempt under CCR Title 13 §2467.3(c).
