Product Description
Crosby® IPBCNS Wide Flange Beam Clamp
The Crosby® IPBCNS Beam Clamp is a high-capacity, heavy-duty clamp engineered for the lifting, handling, and transfer of wide flange beams and plate girders. Built from welded alloy steel with forged alloy components where required, this clamp grips the beam securely at three points for stable, balanced lifting—even when slightly off-center. Designed for use in structural steel, bridge, and construction applications, the IPBCNS eliminates the need for slings, chokers, and spreader bars, improving jobsite efficiency and safety.
When load is applied, the clamp’s tongs automatically open and slide under the beam flange. Its self-energizing design increases clamping pressure as beam weight increases, ensuring a strong and secure hold. Each clamp is individually proof-tested to 2× its Working Load Limit (WLL) and includes full test certification for compliance with EN 13155 and ASME B30.20 standards.
