Product Description
Crosby S-247 Double Clevis Link
The Crosby S-247 Double Clevis Link is a forged, heat-treated carbon steel connector designed for joining chain to various types of hardware, such as rings, eye hooks, pad eyes, or tractor eye bolts. Its design allows for a quick and secure assembly while maintaining reliable performance in load securement applications.
Key Features
- Forged and heat-treated carbon steel body with alloy steel pins, quenched and tempered for strength.
- “Double clevis” design includes one wide jaw and one standard jaw, allowing for easy connection between chain and bulkier fittings like eye bolts or rings.
- Wide-jaw geometry helps prevent side loading when connecting chain to larger hardware.
- Quick and simple pin assembly—no tools required for field installation.
- Suitable for connecting Grade 3 and Grade 4 chain to eye-type fittings.
- 4:1 design factor; ultimate strength is four times the Working Load Limit (WLL).
Size & Capacity Range
- Available chain sizes: 1/4" through 1/2"
- Working Load Limit (WLL): 2,600 lbs to 9,200 lbs
- Not for overhead lifting applications.
