Notes: “Number of Falls” indicates chain reeving for the stated capacity. Hand chain drop is 2 ft less than lift. “Add’l Weight per Ft” is the additional hanging weight per extra foot of lift beyond the 10 ft base. For estimated shipping weight, add ~15% to the listed hanging weight.
- Operators must be trained; perform a pre-use visual and functional inspection each shift.
- Maintain a straight line between hooks; no side pulls or body binding against structure.
- Test the brake by lifting an inch and confirming hold before proceeding; never leave loads unattended.
- Store unloaded in a dry place and wipe down after use.
- Lubricate load chain regularly (SAE 50–90 EP oil); use EP1/EP2 grease on gearing based on temperature.
- Follow frequent/periodic inspection intervals per service class and keep dated records.
Certified and Ready to Lift
Each MA Series hoist is proof-tested at 125% of its rated working load limit to ensure brake performance and structural reliability. A factory test certificate is included with every unit, documenting inspection and assembly in the USA.
