Thern M492B-12 Spur Gear Hand Winch – 10,000 lb Lifting Capacity (12 in Drum)
The Thern M492B-12 is the brake-equipped version of the M492-12, designed for lifting and lowering heavy loads up to 10,000 lbs. Its 12-inch drum allows for maximum rope storage, making it ideal for the most demanding industrial applications.

- Load rating: 10,000 lbs – rated for lifting
- Automatic Weston-style brake for reliable load holding
- Extra-wide 12 in drum design
- Dual gear ratios: 5:1 and 25:1
- Drum capacity: up to 850 ft of 5/16", 3/8", or 1/2" wire rope
- Force to lift 1,000 lbs: approx. 8 lbs
- Heavy-duty steel with clear zinc-plated finish (modern silver appearance)
