Crosby Straightpoint Radiolink Plus: Advanced Wireless Load Monitoring
The Crosby Straightpoint Radiolink Plus is a DNV-GL type-approved wireless tension load cell designed for weighing and dynamic load monitoring in capacities from 1 to 300 tons (2,200 lb to 660,000 lb). Built from aerospace-grade aluminum, it offers an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and features an internally sealed enclosure that provides IP67/NEMA6 environmental protection, even without the battery cover. The long-range RF (2.4 GHz) model, offered here, transmits data up to 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) to the included SW-HHP handheld display or to Straightpoint’s Insight software. The load cell operates for up to 1,200 hours on four AA alkaline batteries, while the handheld runs for up to 40 hours on two AA batteries. A Bluetooth model (connects to smartphones via SP’s free HHP App, 100 m range) and an ATEX/IECEx model for hazardous areas (500 m range) are also available by special order. For added safety, the RF model includes a 90 dB audible overload alarm and peak hold function. Meeting ASME B30.26 standards and backed by a two-year warranty, the Radiolink Plus is ideal for overhead weighing, water bag load testing, and heavy lifting applications where accuracy and reliability are critical.
