Product Description
1/2" Ring Choker – Medium Duty Steel Cable Choker with Forged Connection Ring
The 1/2" Ring Choker is a durable and versatile logging choker that functions much like a standard Cat Choker, but with one key difference: a 7/8" x 4" forged steel round ring is installed in the eye. This ring serves as the primary connection point and is especially popular among professional loggers who use a toggle or pin-style connection system. It offers a dedicated wear surface that helps extend the life of the choker and makes repeated hook-ups more reliable.
Each choker is built in-house using rugged 6x19 class IWRC EIPS wire rope, finished with professionally swaged fittings for long-term durability. The eye is thimbled to cradle the steel ring, preventing excessive wear and reinforcing the high-stress connection point. Whether you're running a commercial crew or working a personal woodlot, this choker is ready to work as hard as you do.
