WE MAKE CHOKERS EVERY SINGLE DAY!
When you buy chokers from Bishop Lifting, you're dealing with a company that has all the right equipment, and trained people using it. We don't make a handful of chokers per month, or per year. We make them every single day, by hand, out of our Pacific Northwest locations in Oregon and Washington (Westech Rigging Supply and Wood's Logging Supply). It's just part of what we do. Let us make yours!
Use the on-page filters to select the exact style, size and length of choker you want. Or, if you just need some hardware components, we offer those too. And if you're not sure which type of choker to buy, check out the table below for a brief description of each kind we offer.
Choker Type | Popularity | Description & Usage |
---|---|---|
Cat Chokers | High | The most popular choker style we sell. Quick and easy to deploy, used by loggers, farmers, contractors and property owners. |
Ring Chokers | Moderate | Much like cat chokers, only with a heavy-duty ring installed into a thimbled eye. The ring acts as your dedicated pick point, which helps the eye to last longer. Used with a toggle for sky car logging. |
Skidding Chokers | Moderate | These chokers have a nub on both ends and are specifically meant for use in slider systems, commonly found on skidders and tractors. Less popular than cat chokers. |
Chain Chokers | High | The function is much the same as any other choker. The chain slips into the slot on the choker hook and stays in place once installed and load is applied. Harder to slip under logs without use of a grab rod. More popular with our customers to the east than here in the Pacific Northwest. |
