Crosby Straightpoint Wireless Load Shackles – Precision Load Monitoring
The Crosby Straightpoint Wireless Load Shackle (WLS) is a compact, high-strength load measuring device designed for accurate, real-time weight monitoring in industrial lifting, marine, and construction applications. The long-range RF (2.4 GHz) model, offered here, provides a wireless range of up to 3,280 feet (1,000 m) to a compatible SW-HHP handheld display (sold separately) or to Straightpoint’s Insight software. Powered by four AA alkaline batteries, the load cell delivers up to 1,200 hours of continuous operation. Every unit is proof-tested and housed in a hard-anodized, environmentally sealed enclosure (IP67/NEMA6) for durability in harsh environments, and includes an internal antenna, remote on/off capabilities, and a load-centering bobbin for precise measurements. A Bluetooth model (connects to smartphones via SP’s free HHP App, 100 m range) and an ATEX/IECEx model for hazardous areas (500 m range) are also available by special order. Available in capacities from 3.25 to 500 tons, with custom options up to 3,000 tons, the WLS meets ASME B30.26 standards and delivers industry-leading performance for demanding load monitoring applications.
