Product Description
One Complete Kit and One Low Price! This kit combines three essential safety tools for any chainsaw operator into one compact, slick package--and all for one low price! In fact, this kit sells for less than a typical pair of chaps alone! In addition to being a great value, this kit is packaged neatly into one box and makes for a great gift.
What's in the Box?- Forestry Helmet: A comfortable, adjustable safety helmet that meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009, Type 1, Class E, G & C. The helmet is also equipped a mesh face shield that meets basic ANSI Z87.1 requirements (not for protection from high-impact exposures). Also included are ear muffs (NRR: 21 dB) that attach easily to the safety helmet, so the entire setup is slick and compact once assembled. Ear muffs meet ANSI S12.42.
- Chaps: Apron-style chaps are very popular because they get the job done, and they don't break the bank. Safety is not compromised by price, however, as these chaps are UL Classified and meet ASTM F1897 standards (for the U.S.A. only). Chap size is "regular", which is 35" - 37.5" adjustable in length with an adjustable waist of 26" - 46".
- Safety Glasses: The clear lens safety glasses are simple by design, yet totally effective. They are compliant with ANSI Z87.1/UV400. The lenses are made with a shatter-resistant polycarbonate that features an anti-scratch coating. It should be noted that eventually these glasses will need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear, which can be done for just a few dollars.
Overall, we really feel this is the best value in any chap safety equipment set that we offer. While the gear is not the most expensive, it is all very functional and will help to keep any chainsaw operator safer.
