Product Description

Green Pin® P-6033 Wide Body Shackles – High-Capacity Sling Shackles with Extra Bow Clearance

Green Pin® P-6033 Wide Body Shackles are designed for heavy-duty sling applications that demand greater surface contact and reduced stress on synthetic or wire rope slings. Their wider bow diameter minimizes sling wear, making them an ideal choice for lifting slings, heavy rigging assemblies, and offshore or infrastructure lifting where load distribution is critical.

These shackles are forged from Grade 8 quenched and tempered alloy steel and feature a safety bolt configuration to ensure secure connections under load. All sizes meet a 5:1 safety factor and conform to ASME B30.26 standards. Sizes range from 7 to 1550 metric tons working load limit (WLL), with body diameters from 22 mm to 285 mm (or approximately 7/8" to 11-1/4"), offering a versatile range for large-scale rigging jobs. Shackles up to 55 tons are hot-dip galvanized; larger sizes feature painted finishes with silver bows and green pins.

Each shackle is supplied with CE markings and optional certifications, including 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1 material test certificates. The wide-body profile also improves the bearing surface, ideal for synthetic roundslings and wire rope terminations. RFID-equipped versions are available for digital asset tracking on select sizes.
