Crosby A-342 Alloy Master Links – High-Strength Rigging for Heavy Lifting
The Crosby A-342 Alloy Master Links are quench & tempered alloy steel links designed for heavy-duty rigging and lifting, meeting ASME B30.26 and ASTM A952 standards. Available in sizes from 1/2" to 5", they support WLLs from 7,400 lbs to 395,000 lbs, with sizes 4-1/4" to 5" featuring welded construction. Links marked with a "W" have enlarged inside dimensions for added clearance in multi-leg slings. Crosby 7/8” to 2” A-342 master links are type approved to DNV-ST-E271-2.7-1 Offshore Containers and are 100% proof tested, MPI, and impact tested. Each link is fatigue-rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the WLL and incorporates QUIC-CHECK® deformation indicators for safety. The WLL is based on a 5:1 design factor for wire and synthetic slings, while chain slings require a 4:1 design factor. Designed for single or multi-leg assemblies, Crosby A-342 Master Links offer strength, reliability, and traceability for critical lifting applications.
