Caldwell Rig-Release® Hooks allow for remote rigging release, improving safety and efficiency on the job site. We offer manual and wireless remote-controlled models to fit different operational needs. Manual Rig-Release® Hooks (RR-1 to RR-15) provide a cost-effective solution, with a rope guide allowing for release when the hook is above or beside the operator. These hooks feature a Lock & Capture mechanism that prevents accidental release while under load, and additional springs can be added to accommodate heavier sling weights. For hands-free operation, the Remote-Controlled Rig-Release® Hooks (RR-2.5R & RR-5R) use a radio-activated solenoid that blocks load release while under tension. With a 400-foot range, an 8-hour battery life, and two-step activation for safety, these units are ideal for high-risk or hard-to-access lifting applications.
