Chain for Overhead Lifting

We sell pretty much any kind of rigging chain you could want, but the most popular rigging chain we offer is Grade 100 Lifting Chain. This is the chain that 99% of all our chain slings are built from, and most all of it is made in America. We keep it in stock in all the most popular sizes, from 7/32" and up with automatic quantity discounts (no coupon code required).

Tie Down Chain

We also offer Grade 70 Tie Down Chain from 9/32" - 1/2" in diameter. All sizes are made in the USA, except for our special 3/8" short link option which is imported. Grade 70 chain, with its gold finish, is the standard for tie down across the USA.

Security Chain

This is a rapidly expanding market for us, but we've actually been selling it for years. The first security chain we ever offered is Pewag's 3/8" (10mm) #13620. If you look in our database, the part number is over 30 years old! But in the past few years, thanks to favorable customer reviews and expert opinion, Pewag has risen to the top as "the brand" in security chain. They now offer a smaller option, 9/32" (7mm) #21148, and a larger version, 1/2" (12mm) #56847 (this has replaced the popular "3012" traction chain, which is no longer offered by Pewag). To top it off, Pewag partnered with Viro, a premium padlock manufacturer in Italy. They now offer a solid, high-quality padlock to go with each chain they offer.

Other Brands and Options

Previously, Laclede's security chain was thru-hardened with a lower HRC (still tough, but not ideal). But, upon request, Laclede's engineering team was able to revamp their heat-treating process and improve their chain, now case-hardened, to 62-65 HRC. That makes it competitive with Pewag's chain. Plus, Laclede makes their chain right here in the USA! We currently offer it in 3/8" (10mm) and 1/2" (13mm).
